A court session given to calling the cases awaiting trial to determine the present status of each case and commonly to assign a date for trial.

A list of cases awaiting trial or other disposition; sometimes called "trial list" or "docket."

A list of cases for trial or appellate argument prepared for a given period of time as a week, month or even a term of the sitting of the court. Such may include scheduling of motions and other pretrial matters.
